Going Out of Our Way for the Community

At Mohawk Chevrolet, community is part of who we are. We believe in going out of our way to support the people, organizations, schools, nonprofits, and local programs that help make our area a better place to live, work, and serve.

If your organization is seeking a sponsorship, donation, or community partnership, we invite you to review the information below and submit a request for consideration.

Mohawk Chevrolet proudly considers requests from local organizations that create a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Who May Apply?

Mohawk Chevrolet considers sponsorship and donation requests from organizations that meet one or more of the following guidelines:

• Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
• Local schools, school programs, clubs, or educational groups
• Civic organizations or recognized charitable groups
• Youth programs, athletic organizations, or community development programs
• Organizations serving Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, or the greater Capital Region
• Programs that directly benefit local residents, families, students, veterans, first responders, or underserved community members

Priority may be given to requests that clearly explain how the sponsorship or donation will benefit the local community.

Types of Causes We Consider

Mohawk Chevrolet is proud to consider requests connected to community-focused causes such as:

• Youth programs and education
• Health and wellness initiatives
• Veterans and first responder support
• Food security and local family services
• Community events and civic programs
• Inclusion, accessibility, and local outreach efforts
• Local athletics and school-based activities
• Charitable fundraisers that directly serve the community

Requests We Typically Cannot Support

To help ensure our giving has the greatest local impact, Mohawk Chevrolet generally does not sponsor or donate to:

• Individual fundraising requests
• Political campaigns, candidates, or partisan organizations
• Religious activities unless the program directly benefits the broader community
• For-profit events, businesses, or private promotions
• Travel expenses, pageants, or personal competitions
• Individual athletic teams without a clear community benefit
• Requests submitted with less than 30 days’ notice

Application Guidelines

Please submit your sponsorship or donation request at least 30 days before your event, program date, or sponsorship deadline.

To help our team review your request, please include the following information:

• Organization name
• Contact name
• Phone number and email address
• Organization website or social media page
• Proof of nonprofit status, if applicable
• Event or program name
• Event date and location
• Expected attendance or audience reach
• Sponsorship or donation amount requested
• Description of how funds or donated items will be used
• Recognition opportunities for Mohawk Chevrolet
• Deadline for response

How Requests Are Reviewed

All sponsorship and donation requests are reviewed by the Mohawk Chevrolet team. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

Requests are evaluated based on community impact, local relevance, available sponsorship budget, timing of the request, alignment with Mohawk Chevrolet’s values, and the opportunity to support meaningful local causes.

Organizations selected for sponsorship or donation support may be contacted for additional information.
